Alistair McAlpine
Writer
Lord Alistair McAlpine was a British art collector, author and politician who significantly influenced design and architecture, particularly through the restoration of historic buildings and the commissioning of new, classically styled structures. His projects in Britain and Australia were noted for their strong, eclectic, and, in some cases, fantastical design aesthetic.
