In the Happy Reader, Seb’s proud to have presided over a much-read print literary magazine ‘at a time when the internet was meant to have made that impossible’. As an editor, he’s drawn to pieces that don’t feel too ‘googled’ – ‘I like to feel someone’s left the house.’ His own travels lately landed on a stimulatingly spooky fairground arts museum, where ‘each object is not as inanimate as it looks.
